Our Story

Allied Gases

Allied Gases & Welding Supplies, Inc. was founded in 1995 by Mark Boccaccio, Anthony Boccaccio, and C. Thomas Shaw in Phoenix, Arizona. From its modest beginnings in Phoenix, Allied expanded to multiple locations in the Arizona market.

In 2003, Allied Gases joined the Independent Welding Supply Distributors Cooperative (IWDC). Our involvement in IWDC has allowed us to expand our selection of welding supplies and industrial gases while offering the most competitive prices available.

In 2007, Allied Gases was proud to introduce a new & improved Micro-Bulk gas delivery system to our customers.

In 2008, the Company relocated its headquarters and production operation to a state-of-the-art facility in Tempe, Arizona.

In 2009, we expanded our product line to offer a full line of Medical Gas services. We have continued to expand our selection of high-quality gases and in 2011 committed additional resources to our Specialty Gas production lab.

Here at Allied, our number one priority is safety. Additionally, we focus our energies on expanding our technical knowledge, product base, and service offerings in order to best meet our customers’ needs.
